「The hotel was great. The staff are so unbelievably helpful and lovely. Whoever the owner is should do all they can to keep the staff they have, they are nothing short of fantastic. Breakfast was good and we ate dinner once too and we were really happy. The location is great, not too far from town but far enough to be peaceful and quiet. We also appreciated the free shuttle in the evening to town. We walked back twice but it was also easy to get a Didi taxi. Highly recommend this place.」

「The location is absolutely perfect. You are right on the Li River, and it's an easy walk to both the wharf and the bustling West Street, yet the hotel itself is quiet and peaceful. "We have mixed views on this Banyan Tree Property. Please note I would not put our butler in this category - Teresa was absolutely fantastic and a testament to the hotel. Nothing was too much effort for her and she made our stay very enjoyable. Secondly, the breakfast was very average in terms of quality of food and service. I would expect much better from a five star property. Finally, there was a terrible paint fumes smell at the swimming pool on the final day of our stay. Other guests also commented on this."
