I had a pleasant stay at M.O. during the dragon boat festival, and I want to specifically call out Steven Wang at the front desk.
I ran into a frustrating issue trying to buy a WeChat e-gift card for a local friend. It turns out U.S. citizens can’t use WeChat Pay, so the purchase seemed impossible. Instead of just shrugging it off, Steven got creative and found a practical solution which allowed to present the e-gift card to my friend. Such a small thing, but it saved the day and showed real care and resourcefulness.
It’s easy to find polite staff, but it’s rare to find someone who’ll actually problem-solve for you like that. Steven turned what could’ve been a disappointing dead end into a great moment of hospitality. If you’re staying here, hope you get to interact with him — he’s a credit to the hotel."
