Beautiful location!

The house is in a beautiful location! Lots of room for the whole family. The only downfall was that the hot tub stopped working a few weeks before our stay. They did give us a discount on our stay because of that, but we really missed not having a hot tub.

Beautiful Location

This large property had enough space for everyone and we were not all right on top of each other. The Beautiful views and relaxing sounds of the ocean were great. Just a wonderful place for us to relax and spend time together.

Great house on the beach

The house is great. Very spacious, on the beach. There were a few things that need to be replaced such as the coffee pot lid, The faucet handle in the main floor shower it is stripped, the family room couch is dirty, it need to be cleaned or replaced. But overall it was a great place to stay. Lots of towels, lots space and sleeps more than I expected. Beautiful view, close access to town. I would stay here again.

Annual Mother and daughters trip

Great location! We loved the privacy and the ocean views. The house is very large with lots of room to spread out, great place for a large family. The cleanliness was less than desirable. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean and we had no issues with those rooms but the rest of the house was literally covered in cobwebs. I would venture a guess that the house hasn't had a thorough cleaning from ceiling to floors in at least a year. I'm curious as to why the property management hasn't taken action on all of the negative comments about the cleanliness?

Just okay

No working lights on the patio or hot tub area. Track lights on the eat bar had no bulbs. Overall kitchen was dark. Kitchen was under equipped, not even a wisk or baking sheet. Garbage can full when we arrived . I think the house has electrical issues, saw several outlets that were burnt. House needs major outside maintenance.

Beautiful view

Beautiful location, home needs updating. The house needs painted and repairs to many areas. The kitchen could use some updated appliances like pans,scissors,casserole dishes. We had to go buy several items just to cook. The drains in the bathrooms were clogged, needs maintenance. The windows were stunning but unfortunately we had to go buy window cleaner as they were awful dirty. You could see cleaner sprayed and just dripping down them where the cleaner didn’t even wipe it. Many areas weren’t cleaned well. The washing machine is terribly moldy, black mold. It smelled up the whole garage and into house. We really loved the house and location, we just really thought you needed to know what needs taken care of to make this home worth that price.

Birthday Weekend at the Beach

Great location. It was quiet and peaceful. Loved the views of the ocean from the family room; dining/ kitchen area; and second floor balcony. The space has plenty of room and there is ample parking for four vehicles. The property manager was very responsive when we called about loss of WiFi in the house and a minor maintenance issue. However, the space needs a deep cleaning. Kitchen cabinets and stairway handrails are sticky and need to be cleaned. The main level common bathroom shower had sand and hair in the drain. Linens need to be replaced. Towels are faded; threadbare; and do not match. Mattresses are extremely uncomfortable and worn to the point of providing minimal back support. The kitchen was missing basic cookware; inadequately equipped; and definitely not a gourmet kitchen as advertised. There were no baking sheets or baking pans. There were only two large skillets meaning there were no small or medium sized skillets. There was only a single measuring cup. The dining table was ample for eight people; but there were only five dining chairs. None of the light switches were marked making it not so easy to light up the rooms. A house manual would be helpful to explain how to use the facility. Access to the beach is about a five minute walk down a gravel road. You pass two houses under construction and two finished homes. We enjoyed our stay - lovely ocean views-easy beach access. The house is spacious. It needs to be updated and deep cleaned

Plenty of room and the views were spectacular. It would have been nice if there was direct access to the beach. There needs to be a staircase on the property. We did find dirty dishes in the dishwasher and some in the cupboards. The front door lock sticks when it is cold. Didn't realize the key fits the back door also until we left. Having the washer and drier was a plus as was the hot tub! Good location too. Will definitely stay here again!

Mixed Feelings

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We arrived at our rental, as instructed, after 4:00pm. The lockbox was empty. No key. I called, emailed, and texted - no response. I pulled up an old email w/ a named person and called her. The boss just found out, was going for the extra key and would be there soon. 25 mins. later he arrives - no key, thinks he can jimmy the door with screwdriver- even a dead bolt...I ask for a refund and we'll get lodging in Newport. He then offers another house - the one in the picture here - it's bigger. That's cool. But it hadn't been serviced in awhile. Few towels, we almost ran out of toilet paper (and we were only 5 in a house for over 8. The table cloth was stained. We just removed it. There were dishes in the washer. The road into the rental was pocked w/ deep mud holes and the first time in I bottomed my car several times. We had to learn to skirt those holes for the duration. So, while the manager tried to make things right, it wasn't a perfect stay.

There are four individual sleeping rooms that can easily accommodate the 8-person occupancy. The kitchen has plenty of space to cook or host cocktails. Overall one of our favorite places on the Oregon coast.

Would not recommend small children at this location. House is very roomy. Upstairs is extremely hot. No fans or air conditioning. Missing most screens. House was not clean. Counters and cupboards were wiped with dirty clothes. Cobwebs everywhere. Dust and other debris under beds. Family room television dysfunctional. Figuring out the light switches is a Challenge. Could use more frying pans, smaller food strainer. Over all we managed and had a good time. The entry way has some wall damage. House does not seem to be being maintained well.

Only one Shower was usable (downstairs shower handle does not work). Furniture in the second living room is very stained. Felt that overall the home could have been cleaner. There were crumbs in the drawers. Only had one garbage bag. Positive: Beds were comfortable and the view was very nice. Property management was very responsive.
