The view from Sourdough gap on the Pacific Crest trail. This is at 6,376 ft and only about a mile from the lake. On clear days it is possible to see Mt. Saint Helens, Mt. Adams, and even Mt Hood.

“Beautiful location! Loved hearing the river as I fell asleep. Hot tub was great after long day of hiking. I know someone commented about the walking path but it did not bother us at all and we spent a fair amount of time on the patio. It’s just a short little access path that leads into the woods. not a big deal imo as we only saw a handful of people use it. Had a fire right next to the river which was also very nice and private. ”

“The home looks just as it does in the photos. It’s very cute in an eclectic ski cabin-type of way. We arrived at night so we didn’t see the peek-a-boo view of the lake until morning. It made me wish we had an extra day to explore more of our surroundings. My pre-teen daughter and her friend enjoyed the loft area and had it to themselves. There was plenty of space, and the fact that each room had its own temperature controls allowed everyone to sleep at a temperature that suited them.”
