「We had a lovely time at the cottage. The air was great, the drinking water excellent, the stars and the moon were enchanting, as were sunrise and the sunset. We patronized the local businesses and found all the people extremely friendly. Because of our age limitations we were unable to use the canoe, kayak or pedal boat. We were disappointed that we found the lake not good for swimming even at Centennial Park. Right in the middle of our stay there was a cold spell with the temperature going...

「Host could not have been more responsive and we found the location excellent. However the place was not cleaned very well, with garbage still under the sink and floors unswept. We were four older fisherman who were happy enough but our wives would not have been. We tried to clean on our departure but woke to a power failure in the area. All in all , as advertised. The host was responsive, but he should get a new cleaning team.」

「We spend 3 nights at Gabriel's cottage. We had a good Time . Positive aspects; Beauty of the site, the the outside space; patio, SPA, dock, ... However there is a very steep trail to reach the dock. There is one peddle and ONE kayak .. (I wish we had 2). The fridge and the shower were dirty when we got there. The rest was ok and the bedding were clean et smelled good. No board Games and very few toys as it says. But all in all a great place and a Nice stay test was oktest es ok.」

「We stayed here for a week for our honeymoon and it was absolutely lovely! Everything was even prettier than the pictures. The hosts, Jerry and Suzie, had thought of everything we might need and provided us with a well stocked kitchen, lots of games and reading material for rainy days and lots of fun outdoor activities. 「Great location and close to downtown only 10 minute drive. Home was clean and in brand new condition. Host was readily available to answer questions and even stopped by to deliver family board games. I loved that the home was pet friendly as well. 「Our family (2 daughters, 3 grandsons 8-23) had a super week on Varty Lake. The Cottage is very comfortable and the two rooms were good for young & older. Kitchen well equipped. Lots of supplies, towels etc. Having the canoe, kayak, paddleboat, two paddle boards was amazing and all were used and enjoyed. Biking along the roads & Cataraqui trail was great. Swimming was good. Games room was enjoyed by the younger boys/young men. Mo was excellent in communicating with us, before and during our stay....

「We absolutely loved our time at this cottage. The property was spacious and clean. View was absolutely breathtaking. We travelled with four adults and four children ranging from six to fourteen and a dog. We found the cottage clean and fully equipped. We loved the guests drinks in the fridge ready to welcome us. Bed linen and towels were well organized and clean. There were lots of games and movies for everyone to enjoy as well as an abundance of water equipment we all enjoyed all weekend....
