This place is very relaxing and ambience use was awesome. The managers were very friendly and Sincerely, appreciated their hospitality . I would definitely recommend this place to all the tourists.

Perfect place to stay

The b&b was a wonderful place that made us feel at home. It had everything we needed and special touches we never expected. We're so glad we selected this b&b for our stay in Yellowknife. We highly recommend it.

Spectacular

Went in the wintertime. Ideal location for those whom look for a little fun walking/hiking. Host very thoughtful and generous people. Backyard is open to all you can imagine, loved it!

Northern lights a fail BUT….

The weather for us sucked, but the property location is a prime spot for viewing. Very much enjoyed the location of the property, the comfy bed, and Buddy (their dog). Andrea and Blair communicated very well.

Cute B&B

Lovely place, clean and cozy. Access to lake. Only reason not giving a 5 star is that you are not in a stand alone studio, neighbors upstairs that made it a tad hard to sleep in after being up until 4am to see noethern loghts. But absolutely gorgeous and woyld recommendation.

Fantastic hosts

Unfortunately due to airline cancellation due to ice on the runway, we didn’t get to enjoy this stay. But the communication from the host and the empathy we received, after the disappointment of missing out not just this trip, but the planned one before covid was greatly appreciated. If your looking for a magical place to stay in the NT, consider this high on your list.

Wonderful winter stay in Yellowknife

We had a wonderful visit to Yellowknife. Highlights included Andrea's extremely comfortable B&B and her great suggestions on things to do, kicksledding, the Heritage Center, dinner at Bullocks as well as Fishy People, and seeing our first Aurora with Joe from North Star Adventures with wind chills of -42°C. But most amazing was seeing the Aurora off the dock on our last night in Yellowknife. A magnificent and never ending display! We will return in warmer weather!

Amazing Hospitality!

My boyfriend and I changed our flights to stay at the incredible spot based on a recommendation from a friend. The private dock and amazing hospitality made the entire experience! Andrea and Blair were great communicators who were abundantly generous! They lent us their kayaks and bicycles, offered up their fire pit/wood, and even had their son drive us to the airport on our way out. The suite was gorgeous and very clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the clawfoot tub was icing on the cake! 12/10 would recommend!!

Ideal for relaxation and aurora-viewing

The suite was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, and the lovely decor (colors, patterns, textures) invited rest and relaxation. The hosts made check-in and check-out simple and easy, even at the post-midnight hours that flights arrive and depart the Yellowknife Airport. They also provided a convenient plug-in for the engine-block heater of our rental car.Best of all: by using apps to track the approach of the Northern Lights, we were able to just stroll onto the frozen lake outside our bay window to watch in awe as the aurora passed directly over us. Incredible views and photos, and on multiple nights (especially fun the evening we were joined by Buddy the golden retriever).We're grateful for a lovely stay in a very special place.

Great Location -- Quiet Stay

The B&B was just as advertised - spacious and well-appointed. The location in Yellowknife was ideal. The hosts were responsive to our requests while giving us all the privacy we could have wanted. This is important to us in a B&B. We would highly recommend the Great Slave Lakeside B&B to anyone visiting Yellowknife!
