We stayed at the Oriental Jade twice - once in their Emerald room and once in the Gem Suite with Lake view. Both rooms were great and the facilities at the hotel are awesome from the rooftop pool to the amazing breakfast. The Emerald Room was very nice however they aren't kidding when they say there is no view - our window looked at a wall. The Suite was next level however. It was HUGE and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful all the time and it just felt like a real sanctuary in an incredibly busy city.

Amazing Stay
"Super welcoming host and family. The beds are big and the dorm isn’t crowded all. Surprisingly a soft mattress which is hard to find in Vietnam. The highlight was the family dinner with the host. He had his family, friends and three guests for a large dinner. Amazing food and local rice wine."
