"The host was perfect. Rapidly responsive to all inquiries. The cabin was rustic and super comfortable. The HVAC worked great. The lighting in the common room was a bit dim but some higher watt bulbs would likely easily fix that. Everything was super."

"The location was amazing. Rooms clean and comfortable. Place was warm when we got there. We really enjoyed our stay. Only hard thing was The lock to get in did not work but there was an open door so we got in. There was no book to tell us about the area or property. No way to contact the owner because of no service. The code they gave su did not work. "

"My husband and I stayed here for our Yosemite elopement. Overall I would stay here again! We had a few family meals and the space was perfect for hosting. The place wasn’t as clean as I would have liked but you are in the mountains so I still give 4 stars. We accidentally got locked out (so be careful with the locks) and wasn’t able to get in touch with the host and had to climb through the window lol. The view off the back deck is amazing and the property is easy to access (no crazy stairs like some other places in Yosemite west). There are quite a few stairs in the place but it wasn’t too bad. Also there is an extra bedroom that’s not pictured in the listing! "

"Clean and stocked with kitchen cooking basics. Having general coffee, tea service trays was nice. Fourteen of us were able to find space and were comfortable. Small issue with one burner on stove not working but had 2nd kitchen, so not a problem for us. Quiet location with parking. We saw mule deer and hawks on property. Some of the furniture needs updating."
