This hotel is in an amazing location. Our room was comfortable and clean. The staff were exceptional. We had had a very long day driving in from Caen in horrible weather and delayed due to an accident shutting down the highway. The gentleman at the desk was so kind and friendly. He was able to get us a dinner reservation when everything in town was booked solid. Just spectacular customer service. Also, if you're looking for a great dining experience, 'T Zweerd was excellent.

This location of this hotel is amazing. Our room faced the main square and church tower. Opening the window and looking out was thrilling. You will rarely find a better location in an older medieval type layout and setting. Staff ( a man and a woman from what we could see) ran everything from breakfast to check in. They were very efficient and check in, breakfast etc. was well done. Area around the main square is filled with restaurants, chocolatiers and shopping. As always, in older areas of older towns in Europe, streets are narrow, often one way and parking is limited. There is a large square which allows parking very close to the hotel but even in October it was crowded and we were fortunate to find a spot. Patience regarding parking is required in exchange for the unbelievable setting.

Clean rooms. Very limited space, could not open bathroom door without hitting bed. Bed was very comfortable. Limited reception hours - we arrived after reception was gone. Keys to rooms and information was left at the front counter to just grab. Unusual but it worked. Breakfast buffet was excellent with lots of choices. Great location!

Breakfast was fine. The location was excellent. The staff were very helpful and happy to share their local knowledge. There were some quirky things about the lights in the room such as the foyer light being on a sensor that seemed to be activated when approached from a distance. It took a long time to go out! Room was ok.
