"The room is clean, and the staff are super helpful, though there was some trouble with language. They are very friendly and helpful. The place is super nice and we feel super safe even doing the night time. Golf cart service was so good. The room pool is super nice and clean. The buffet foods is just an average and dinner restaurant is ok as well. The beach was awful in June month would recommend if you like beach. Seaweed everywhere. The resort try to keep up but seaweed take over for the month of may to July. Was told the best time is in the winter is the best time. the best thing about this resort is that they allow you to eat and explore all other resort area and eat almost on every property. The resort are super nice in the TRS property side, the pool is very nice and so relaxed more fun. We wish the resort had more entertainment or shows feel so sad for entertainment staff; they all look so tired and there are not a lot of activities."

"Good not great. The food was overall high quality, but it did get slightly old after a few breakfasts/lunches. The rooms have evidence that they once were top-of-the-line but have since fallen out of vogue. Not an unenjoyable stay, but there are far better resorts to spend your vacation at. We did have some phenomenal service at the restaurants and bars, with Pablo at the Mediterranean restaurant being a specific bright spot."

"Exceptional Stay at Excellence Riviera!! Our stay at Excellence Riviera Cancun was truly outstanding. The resort is beautifully maintained, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the staff consistently went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was exceptional throughout the resort, but a few venues stood out in particular. “Chez Isabelle” offered an outstanding fine-dining experience for dinner, while “The Lobster House” was fantastic for both lunch and dinner, serving fresh and delicious seafood in a beautiful setting. “Las Olas” became one of our favourite spots for casual snacks and light meals by the beach. We also loved “Aroma”- our favourite coffee & pastry & best ice cream place to go. The pools were fantastic, providing plenty of space to relax, and the grounds were lush, peaceful, and impeccably cared for. The overall atmosphere was elegant, relaxing, and perfect for a couples’ getaway. One important note for future travellers: if swimming in the ocean is a priority, void March-October seaweed season. Excellence Riviera Cancun exceeded our expectations in every other way with its exceptional dining, beautiful pools, well-maintained grounds, and outstanding service. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing all-inclusive vacation in Cancun. 🌴☀️🍹✨ Cheers ☀️"
