Perfect desert stay

We had a great time with 13 people and everyone had a comfortable sleeping situation. The management company was super helpful and communicative, we did the fridge stock before we arrived which was so nice to arrive and not worry about going to the store. We hung out by the pool for hours and had the best trip.

Great house for a group

Overall the stay was awesome at Flora. Plenty of room for us all to relax and enjoy. The house is spacious and the backyard is truly magical with lots for everyone to enjoy from the hot tub, pool, hammocks, bocce court. The only real negative that brings this rating down to a 4 instead of a 5 is that there were some cleanliness issues in some of the rooms with rodent droppings in the corners. Understand that this is a common problem in the desert but some of the droppings looked like they could have been there for a while with dust collecting. We never saw any rodents inside the house. I will also call out that the house is located off a dirt road which we weren't aware of, so for some of our transportation to and from the airport it was a bit difficult for the car to get to the house. If you have an SUV or a truck, you will be fine, but sedans had some issues. Otherwise the house was perfect and we would stay there again.

Perfect stay for a family!

The Flora was a wonderful place to stay. There were 11 of us in our group from a 7 month old to my parents in their 70’s. All the rooms had ample room and there were enough bathrooms to go around for everyone. The dining area was a great space for us and still had room for when we had other family during the week we were there. There was plenty to keep busy with. The pool and hot tub were great! We had it heated so we were able to enjoy even when it was cooler weather. The wading area was perfect for the baby but the large pool was great for the bigger kids to play! We enjoyed Bocce ball, horseshoes, corn hole, ping pong, board games provided and the pool table. The beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water for showers, and laundry was super convenient! There were trails right near the house that we could explore and it was super close to Joshua Tree National Park. The town is cute and fun to explore. Our hosts were very responsive whenever we had questions. The coffee left for us, from a local company was also a very nice greeting to the home! We were very happy and would definitely stay again if in the area. Thank you!

The house was 45 mins from Palm Springs airport. Very clean and beautiful decorated! There was 14 girls for a bachelorette party. We used the pool and outside activities a lot. The fridge and freezer are huge and fits alot! All the beds were very comfortable! I will definitely be coming back to stay at this amazing house again with my family and friends!

Could of have been better

There were a handful of issues that could have been easily addressed to make our trip better. The management company needs better cleaners. In the house and around the backyard wasn’t the cleanest. There was oil left on the bottom on the oven so it smoked when we turned it on. A couple of the showers wouldn’t drain properly. The pool was dirty when arriving. One of our kids found a dead rat in it. The management company did send someone to clean it. We paid for the pool to be heated to 78 for 2 nights, but the management company turned it on late so we got refunded the first night. The pool never reached anywhere close to 78 so they refunded us for both days, which was disappointing because it was abnormally cold outside. I don’t remember it being stated on the listing, but the house is not on a paved road. That might be worth mentioning for people that don’t have a truck or SUV. The positives are the property is nice. Everyone enjoyed the games outside and the pool table inside. The house is spacious and accommodated a large group. I would say my review is closer to 2.5 stars, but could of easily been a 4 or 5 star review without the issues mentioned above.
