Great Experience

We had a great experience and it started with Andrew, the host, who provided prompt responses to questions and timely delivery of pre-arrival information about the house and area activities. Also, the house manager was very accessible for questions during our stay. Second, the house is better than advertised! The interior layout is spacious and the wall of sliding doors opens to a secluded back yard for easy enjoyment of the patio, chef’s grill, fire pit, and pool. Moreover, the kitchen is well equipped, and there is an ample supply of towels, blankets, and toiletries. The secluded, yet convenient, location provides a slice of Joshua Tree National Park Heaven right out the back door!

Labor Day Friends' Weekend

We chose this house for a friends’ weekend over Labor Day and found it is as stunning as the photos. What the photos miss, however, are the peace, serenity and incredible energy found at Boulder2Sky. We had planned to visit Joshua Tree National Park, along with some other local attractions, but didn’t leave the house the entire weekend. For those wondering if it’s too hot to stay at certain times of the year, we stayed here during a heatwave. It was hot, but between the pool and sitting on the loungers under an umbrella, it was quite comfortable. The well-functioning air-conditioning inside kept us comfortable. The house is very well stocked—we made complex meals and found what we needed in the kitchen, there are plenty of towels, the bathrooms have amazing soaps and shampoos, and there are TV’s in every room. The master bedroom is spacious and open, but the other bedrooms are also open and comfortable--especially having en suite bathrooms in each room. The detail of the decor, along with the floor to ceiling windows that make up most of the house, created a stunning setting in the beauty of the desert. We will definitely return!

The ideal desert getaway!

First, communication with the property manager Andrew is clear, concise, and prompt. Instructions and expectations for the house are clearly laid out. Several options to optimize the stay including early check-in, late check-out, and pool warming are available for a reasonable fee, and we took advantage. The house is easy to access with a combination key pad so no worry with actual keys. The house: WOW! The pictures don't do it justice. The floor to ceiling windows with sliding doors that convert all the sleeping areas and the ENTIRE living area into indoor/outdoor space made it feel like celebrity living. The kitchen was all state of the art and extremely well stocked with cookware, dinnerware, and cooking utensils. The outdoor living space was super comfortable with large quick-drying mattresses under large umbrellas and a salt pool with areas for sitting and swimming. The lighting during the night reflected off the natural surroundings to make the perfect setting for socializing. There were no expenses spared with regard to towels and robes, both in quantity and quality. The mattresses and bed linens were dreamy. The house is a short car ride from Joshua Tree National Park West entrance and some really spectacular day hikes. We would DEFINITELY rent Boulder2Sky every year. It was THAT great.

Incredible Experience

Boulder Sky is perfection. The hosts have thought of everything down to the Aesop soap and Joshua Tree Blankets. The house is beautiful, modern and refreshing it is fully equipped for a fun and relaxing weekend. The outdoor space is next level. There is plenty of privacy and the design offers a resort like feel. I can't wait to go back.
