About this property

Solara Ridge · Hilltop Views, Hot Tub, Cowboy Tub

  • Summary:

Solara Ridge is a modern hilltop retreat in Yucca Valley, designed around sweeping desert views and effortless indoor-outdoor living. Open the wall of glass doors, gather around the courtyard fire pit, or unwind in the six-person hot tub beneath the café lights. With a seasonal cowboy tub, beautifully appointed interiors, and inviting spaces for shared meals and quiet moments, this is a place to settle in and enjoy the desert from a different perspective.

    The Space:

At Solara Ridge, thoughtful architecture lets the landscape take center stage. High ceilings, polished concrete floors, warm wood cabinetry, and earthy furnishings create a relaxed, contemporary interior, while expansive glass doors bring natural light and mountain views into the main living space. The open layout makes spending time together feel effortless, whether you're preparing a leisurely dinner, listening to records, or enjoying the view from the sofa.

Outside, the home unfolds across distinct gathering spaces overlooking Yucca Valley's rocky hills and distant mountains. There's room to soak, dine beneath the café lights, or settle around the fire as the evening colors change. With three comfortable bedrooms and easy access to Old Town Yucca Valley, Solara Ridge offers a welcoming home base for friends and families who appreciate great design, beautiful surroundings, and time spent together.

    -Outdoor Amenities-

The outdoor spaces are a defining part of the Solara Ridge experience. The courtyard patio feels like an extension of the home, with cushioned lounge seating arranged around a modern propane fire pit. It's a wonderful place to gather after dinner, enjoy a drink, and watch the last light move across the surrounding mountains.

A separate outdoor patio is dedicated to soaking, dining, and enjoying the desert air. The six-person hot tub invites long, relaxing evenings, while the 6-foot galvanized cowboy tub offers a refreshing place to cool off during the warmer months. The cowboy tub is not an in-ground swimming pool and is drained and unavailable from November through March.

Overhead café lights give the patio a welcoming glow after dark. A long wooden table with bench seating makes outdoor meals easy, with a propane BBQ nearby for grilling. During the day, bring out the cornhole set, settle in with a book, or simply take in the Joshua trees, natural boulders, and expansive views that surround the property.

    -Living Area-

The living room is bright, open, and comfortably furnished, with warm neutral seating, sculptural accents, and contemporary artwork that complement the home's clean architectural lines. A generous sectional and inviting lounge chairs offer plenty of room to settle in, while the sliding glass doors create a beautiful connection to the outdoor courtyard.

Music is part of the atmosphere here. Browse the vinyl collection and put a record on the turntable while preparing dinner, or enjoy a movie with the smart TV and Bose soundbar. Books and board games offer an easy alternative to screen time, making the living area equally suited to relaxed afternoons and evenings spent together.

For groups of seven or eight, an additional air mattress with linens is available in the laundry room and can be set up in the living area.

    -Kitchen and Dining-

The kitchen is both a striking design feature and a natural gathering place. Warm wood cabinetry, open shelving, white countertops, and glass pendant lighting create an inviting space centered around a large island with seating for four.

A professional range, generous prep space, and a well-stocked collection of cookware and utensils make it easy to prepare anything from a casual breakfast to a full dinner with friends. Spices and olive oil are provided, along with a drip coffee maker, French press, coffee, tea, and sugar.

Gather around the indoor dining table for a meal together, linger at the island while someone cooks, or carry dinner outside to the patio beneath the café lights. With the kitchen, dining, and living areas flowing together, everyone can enjoy the occasion without feeling separated from the conversation.

    -Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

Solara Ridge features three thoughtfully furnished bedrooms and two full bathrooms, accommodating up to eight guests with the additional living room air mattress.

The primary suite is especially inviting, with a king-size bed, high ceilings, warm terracotta accents, and leather lounge chairs that create a comfortable place to unwind.
