Many parts, like this in Hualien County, are paths through scenic valleys with beautiful bike-only paths among rice paddies. This is a rest stop along the path at the Antong Old Train Station. "This place was very hard to find. The Google name should be Flower Homestay not Ikegame. We used that name and were directed to a very remote place. Fortunately we were stopped by a local who kindly helped us to get an Uber. As it turned out, this place is very close to the train station. It has no elevator so be prepared. "Breakfast was prepared well by the staff. Toast and drinks are self-serve. The dining area views of the mountains are gorgeous. The private hot spring tub in the room was so relaxing for my sore muscles. The design of the building allows privacy. The overall feel of the place was relaxing, contemplative, and rejuvenating."

"There was less than a quarter bag of toilet paper when we arrived . Everything felt damp. It’s obvious that owner tried to make everything clean but the property is just old. Check in process was less than desirable. If it weren’t because the owner just happed to drop in we wouldn’t know how to get in to the lobby. Check out was easy. We just had to drop the key in the basket."
