The hotel certainly has some shortcomings but you shouldn’t forget you are in Greece and that’s part of the charm. Staff is great, facilities are good (except in the gym where a lot of the equipment is not working and needs to be exchanged) pool and beach area are very nice. Overall we had a great stay.

Ett vackert hotell vid stranden

Hotellet var vackert och välskött med en fantastisk strand och ett fint poolområde framför stranden. Bra frukost, fin personal och mycket trevligt och tillmötesgående bemötande. Jag rekommenderar verkligen hotellet för någon som vill ha en lugn och skön vistelse med både pool och hav, rena rum och sköna sängar!

What a wonderful hotel!! Had a fabulous short stay here, very relaxing and just what we needed. A special shout out to the lovely ladies on reception who gave us some amazing recommendations, the wonderful Fortis for picking us up when we were stuck, Dennis the loveliest of tennis coaches and all the great bar and restaurant staff. Theres a lovely spa and shop on site too. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Bestes Hotel ever - sehr geräumige, saubere Zimmer, grandioses Essen (kein Buffet - es gab jeden Abend ein sehr leckeres 5 Gänge Menü). Sehr bequeme, und vor allem reichlich Liegen an Pool und Meer. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und etwas abgeschieden. Das Personal versucht jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Ich kann das Hotel uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Great property in a beautiful quiet beachfront location. It is Even nicer in person than the photos. We had dinner 2 nights of our stay & it was excellent!! We also each had a massage at the spa with Kostas & our treatments were great! Overall beautiful property & very friendly helpful staff. Tennis court & equipment provided was good too we played every day. Would highly recommend to family & friends.

Good, but needs to improve the basics.

Hotel has great services and staff, but basics are missing. Water in the rooms, small milk in the rooms, body lotions, key info of the hotel and services…basics you will expect at such a hotel. Pool and beach area is great. Spa is very good. Some food served seems to come from a packet or box - quality can improve. Quantity is great.

Dejligt boheme hotel

Et virkeligt dejligt hotel - med en skøn atmosfære. Rengøringen var god. Hotellet en smule slidt men stadig virkelig dejligt. Morgenmaden var rigtig lækker med noget for enhver smag. Aftensmaden lader dog en del tilbage at ønske. Den var middelmådig. Men alt i alt en skøn oplevelse. Vil gerne tilbage dertil.

We stayed at The Bay Hotel & Suites with two young children and unfortunately our experience fell well below expectations. We booked a Senior Suite with Garden View based on the description and photographs advertised, but the initial room was materially different and raised genuine safety concerns. The advertised bathtub did not exist, the shower area was extremely slippery and our son slipped twice on the first day. The balcony opened directly onto a busy parking area with virtually no barrier or privacy, making it unsuitable for a family travelling with a 2-year-old and a 4-year-old. After complaining, we were told nothing was available for the first night. The following morning we were moved to another room, only to discover there was no working air conditioning, TV or telephone, forcing us to move for a second time. We spent a large part of our holiday packing, unpacking and waiting for rooms and maintenance instead of enjoying our stay. Although the final room was much better, the disruption had a significant impact on our holiday. The hotel offered only half the cost of one dinner despite the considerable inconvenience. The location is lovely and many staff were pleasant, but the inaccurate room descriptions and poor handling of these issues were extremely disappointing and not what we expected for the price paid.
