“Our first night was a bit rocky — our room was in the Historic area of the hotel, close to the road, and we could hear a neighboring dog barking. The next morning at breakfast, we only saw coffee, toast, cereal, and fruit, so we thought that was all that was available. After we started eating, a staff member arrived and took our order — and we ended up having a delicious hot breakfast. We really enjoyed exploring the beautiful property. “I stayed here three times in between flights to the Galapagos, Amazon River and Quito. Everything was great, except the WiFi, which kept going in and out, but that could have been the Internet service provider. They provide free airport pick up (but not drop off, which costs $10). The sheets and pillows are a good quality, the mattress was comfortable, the water is hot and has good pressure, and the room service food was very good and reasonably priced. I recommend this place for a budget option……
