Great Santa Cruz Island is a small inhabited island in Zamboanga City in the southern region of the Philippines that is famous for its pink coralline sand.

Mt. Timolan Protected Landscape is one of the Eco-Tourism Site in Zamboanga Del Sur. It's a 9 Kilometer Hike but you can also hire a "Habal-habal" ride in which you will surely be like in a motor cross ride. One of the best things about Mt. Timolan is the lake on the top of that mountain, you can ride a boat and clearly see the trees submerged below the water, isn't that amazing?! In addition, there are also cottages in that area where you can rest and enjoy this picturesque beauty of nature.
