「There was no pool and aircon was only in room, possibly in the resto downstairs, but in no common areas. Lovely staff, good food, nice decor and art. Lots of stairs. Airport shuttle was reasonable and good. 」

I felt very secure staying there with security on all night. They were helpful with recommendations for sightseeing and other restaurants. I was able to leave my bags locked up for a late checkout. Transfers to and from the airport were quick and seemless. Very nice place to start your stay on Zanzibar.」

「Booked superior seaview room and seaview window is at toilet which is higher than normal people eye level. Double check if breakfast is included in the booking in hotels.com as the website offer two breakfast option with different price which is a bit confusing. Tried to contact hotel to confirm via booking website and official hotel email address a few time but no luck.」

「Perhaps there are better rooms, but our room ( nadia) is very noisy throughout our stay. Not just u could hear people shouting and chirldren playing and car horns, but the worst is that there are some sort of aircon machines right outside yr window so u can also hear the engine sound. There are too many more quiet but equally convenient boutique hotels in Stonetown but since we had already paid so we could not change hotel. DONT TRUST THE COMMENTS ANY MORE FROM HOTELS.COM! (P.S. 「The location is wonderful- among the labyrinth of Stone Town. The breakfast is an interesting spread of offerings and offerings of cooked foods. Our room was near the top of the lovely narrow stairs adjacent to the coffee, tea, and water station. The rooms were very comfortable and beautifully decorated. It was a safe location with an attendant always at the door. My one issue is that we left some money under a water pitcher and when we returned to retrieve it, it had been taken. I only wish the...

「For a historic boutique hotel it was decent. It was kinda hard to get to for our driver. The rooms were definitely older with older furniture, dated looking bathroom, and a noticeable smell. The breakfast was convenient. As a westerner that it fine with the Hampton Inn, it wasn’t somewhere I would book again.」
