BEAUTIFUL MODERN APARTMENT IN THE TOWN CENTRE! This authentic Austrian residential, ground floor apartment has all modern facilities, finished with a traditional Austrian style. Situated in the main town of Zell Am See, this quiet, small block of 7 apartments provides the perfect base for your summer or winter holiday.
The apartment is divided into 2 double, spacious bedrooms, has 2 separate bathrooms and a large open plan, "loft style" main living area, with sofa bed, plus a spacious balcony, all comfortably furnished. There is cable TV and wifi included.
There is also a secure garage offering underground parking on site and secure storage for ski equipment & bikes. Step free access from street level and to the lift from the garage.
The apartment is located just a few minutes walk from the lake, right by the summer -heated, outdoor, lakeside pool ( lido) , the minigolf and playpark. Directly across the road is the luxurious indoor pool and modern ice rink complex as well as a petrol station with integral convenience store. As you can see from the map it is just minutes walk to the historic town centre with its traditional buildings and all its facilities and shops.
Situated in Zell am See, this apartment is 300 metres from City Xpress giving access to the main Schmitten ski area. It is also only 800m from the night slope served by the Ebenbergbahn. Although there is superb skiing of all abilities and levels there is also an easy access nursery slope just a few minutes bus ride or drive away.
The apartment comprises of an open plan lounge area, with a dining area and a modern kitchen, with dishwasher, fridge freezer and oven, a flat-screen TV and DVD player are provided. Apartment Freya features free WiFi throughout the property. Suitable for couples, friends or families, there is a travel cot and high chair that can be arranged with the owner before arrival. There is a linen charge and all bedding and towels are provided.
Zell am See is now connected to Saalbach-Hinterglemm following the completion of the new ZellamseeXpress, giving access to 350 km of ski piste and for excellent early or late season skiing the Kitzsteinhorn glacier is only 15 minutes drive away, accessible by the skibus all season. Guests can enjoy various activities in the surroundings, including horse riding, windsurfing and hiking. Zell am See boasts a sailing club and several golf courses.
The nearest airport is Salzburg W. A. Mozart Airport, 76 km from Apartment Freya. The airport has hire car facilities on site, (the staff speak English) and a bus link or taxi to the main Hauptbahnhof ( train station ) where you could catch a train to Zell am See. The trains are regular and we suggest checking the English page of the OBB website for timetables and routes.

Apartment was spacious and nicely kept, a short walk to the CityXPress gondola and Ski Bus stops, as well the main town of Zell am See which had everything we needed for self catering. Mike was very helpful, with quick responses and clear instructions. Would highly recommend this apartment and host!
6 adults stayed here for a week skiing. The apartment was clean, warm and had all the appliances needed. The host was easy to contact when we couldn't find the key box. I would definitely stay here again!
We had a fantastic time in Zell am See. The appartment is in a great location and an easy walk to the lake, restaurants, shops, bike hire and access to mountains. We got the bus the Kaprun one day but didnt need a hire car for our week away. The apartment was spacious and well equipped and we didnt need for anything.
Location is excellent and having storage for skis and boots is really helpful. Not far from cityXpress lift at all. Billa petrol shop opposite does basics and was useful. Apartment was great, simple but had everything we needed.
The property suited us well and was close to the lake as well as the town’s central area. It had everything that we needed, although the welcome booklet was out of date in terms of what was provided for the rental. Would recommend and use it again if we ever revisit.The
We stayed as a family of 4, and we were very impressed with the size of the apartment, proximity to everything and what great value for money it was.
Communication with Mike was excellent, he always responded very promptly. It was easy to pick up the key from the safe. The apartment was equipped with everything we needed, the bedrooms spacious and the two bathrooms a bonus. The walk to the ski lifts took 5 minutes although I would recommend renting a locker there (in advance) so you didn’t have to trek with skis and boots as it’s a bit uphill. We took advantage of the swimming pool at the sports complex almost opposite - 3 times!
The old town centre is also a few mins walk away, with a bigger Billa, and there is also a tiny petrol station one across the road. As we arrived by train, we also managed the walk to the apartment with all the gear. The only thing I would warn other guests about is that the apartment is off quite a busy road and there is a bit of traffic noise if you keep your windows open at night.

Beautiful spacious apartment in a great location.
Great central located property-easy to walk to bars and restaurants and close to the main ski lift- a bonus to have 2 bathrooms. Lovely and warm and a very well equipped kitchen.
The apartment suited us perfectly and we had a great week.
Mike could not have been more helpful after we accidentally left an item in the apartment. Very grateful.
Det var fantastiskt bra! Läget var toppen o det var fint på alla sätt o vis. Vi var där för att åka skidor o bussen kom utanför. Bilen stod i garaget o det fanns förråd till skidor. Tankstation precis utanför. Nära till stan. Kunde inte bli bättre!
Denne lejlighed ligger virkeligt godt i forhold til city center og skiliften op på bjerget.Der er privat parkering og plads til opbevaring af ski.Det passede perfekt til 2 børn og 2 voksne.
Wir hatten eine angenehme Woche mitgroßteils schönem Wetter. Die Pisten waren perfekt und die Godelbahn nich weit weg. Im großen un ganzen waren es wunderbare Tage in Zell am See.
We hebben een heerlijke week gehad. De locatie is top. Het appartement was groter dan we verwacht hadden. De twee badkamers waren superfijn en ook de verschillende zitplekken in de woonkamer vielen erg goed in de smaak.
Wir waren mit zwei Kindern und zwei Erwachsenen für 1 Woche Skiurlaub in dem Apartment. Bedingt durch die zwei Schlafzimmer und die Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer hätten theoretisch sogar 6 Leute Platz gehabt.
Am besten gefallen haben uns die zwei Bäder, die sowohl vor als auch nach dem Skifahren erheblich dazu beigetragen haben, dass keine Hektik entsteht.
Die Küche ist wirklich vollständig eingerichtet, sämtliche Utensilien sind ausreichend vorhanden und nicht in kleinen abgezählten Mengen.
Die Lage ist perfekt, selbst in Skischuhen maximal 15 Minuten zur Gondel und direkt gegenüber befindet sich eine Tankstelle mit integriertem Supermarkt.
Der Kontakt war immer freundlich, problemlos und zeitnah, wir würden hier jederzeit wieder buchen.
Property was very comfortable with everything we needed. Parking was safe and secure and we had somewhere to store our bikes. Just a short walk into town and to the beach club. Very enjoyable
