In the house: lift, storage room for skis, central heating system. Mountain railway 700 m, ski rental, ski bus stop 500 m, children's ski school 1.1 km, sled run 1.1 km. The keys‘ handover takes place by the agency Interhome in Zermatt.
    2-room apartment 45 m2 on 1st floor, south facing position. Simple and cosy furnishings: living/sleeping room with 1 double sofabed (1 x 150 cm, length 200 cm), dining table and TV. Exit to the balcony. 1 room with 1 double bed (160 cm, length 200 cm). Open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 induction hot plates, toaster, kettle, freezer, electric coffee machine, fondue Set (cheese)). La Prairie was a short walk from downtown. I would recommend a taxi to get from the train station (if you have a lot of luggage) but everything in Zermatt is walkable when not hauling luggage. The views were amazing and the place was everything we had hoped for our weekend of skiing. We plan on coming back during the summer and sure hope this place is available again. Thank you!

No tiene lavadora de ropa, de manera que hay que llevar la colada al centro y luego subirla. Poco práctico para una estancia de turismo.

Die Böden hätten noch etwas mehr Staubsauger benötigt, Flusen waren noch vorhanden. Die Kaffeemaschine war schmutzig, Kapseln waren noch im Behälter sowie Wasser im Wasserbehälter, wie lang war das Wasser und die Kapseln drin?

Tolle Aussicht

Die Wohnung hat einen tollen Ausblick auf das Matterhorn! Man merkt jedoch, dass die Ausstattung in die Jahre gekommen ist (Dusche rostet, Bett wackelt,) und sie war auch nicht so sauber (Staub war auf Sofa& auf dem Boden)! Da wir uns aber nur zum Schlafen in der Wohnung aufhielten, war das ok!

Die Wohnungen war für unseren Urlaub sehr gut Ausgestattet. Was mir fehlte war ein Wäscheständer. Ansonsten war alles an seine Platz. Kann die Wohnung weiter empfehlen.

charming & clean with a great view

My husband and I spent 3 days of a Christmas holiday at La Prairie. The view of the Matterhorn is as good as advertised and the walk to the town center is reasonable. The place is very clean and uncluttered and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook simple meals. Interhome also made it pretty easy to check-in at a late hour. The only small complaints we had were these: Even with the thermostat turned off the place was too warm to sleep and we had to leave the window open. The shower had good water pressure but it does not actually have any of the massage features we saw advertised in the photos. The checklist of things to do when leaving (take out trash, strip linens, wash and put away dishes) seemed like asking a bit too much considering the high cleaning and laundry fees we had to pay. All in all I would still recommend this place to vacationers.
