The accommodation is 200 metres from the train station, yet it’s very quiet. In the same building, you’ll find a Coop, various shops, and an Indian restaurant. The apartment is located on Bahnhofplatz, which marks the beginning of the famous Bahnhofstrasse with all its shops and restaurants.
The Gornergratbahn, which takes you directly to the mountain, is located right in the annex, as is the local bus.

The apartment is 65 sqm and is located on the 3rd floor (with an lift).
Next to the door, you’ll find the key safe, where your key is located. The code will be sent to you via message through the Airbnb platform a few days before your arrival. The 65-square-meter apartment features a spacious balcony with a panoramic view of the world-famous Matterhorn and the beautiful mountains of Zermatt.

The buses are free of charge. The nearest bus stop to the apartment is 20 metres away.

SHOPPING OPPORTUNITIES
All shops, as well as the cable cars and the train station, are very close by.
Many restaurants, bakeries, and supermarkets are within a 1-minute walk.

RENT SKIS, BIKES...
In the same building, you can rent ski, bicycle, and hiking equipment: Bayard Sport

All shops are open 365 days a year until 6:00 p.m.

SUPERMARKET (Coop)
The Coop supermarket is in the same building as the apartment and is open daily (365 days a year) from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

GARBAGE DISPOSAL
The rubbish disposal is right behind the house. There you can recycle PET bottles, aluminium tins, and glass bottles. You can also dispose of yard waste and regular trash there.

One trash bag is included in the price and will be disposed of by us. If you need more rubbish bags, you can purchase them for a fee at Coop.

LUGGAGE and SKI
You may store your luggage in the ski room before and after your arrival.
Skis and ski boots must be stored in the ski room❗️
The ski room is located in the basement.

The key to the ski room is in the apartment.

Other things to keep in mind
The MANDATORY TOURIST TAX in Zermatt is 4 CHF per person per night.
Children between the ages of 9 and 16 pay 2 CHF.
This must be paid directly on site in cash or by card.
The city tax is 4.00 Swiss francs per night for all types of accommodation.
It must be paid before check-in❗️

LUGGAGE
You may store your luggage in the ski room before and after your arrival.

Smoking in the living area is strictly prohibited❗️

Breakfast is not provided. The Coop, located in the same building, offers a wide selection of baked goods and many other food items. The Fuchs bakery is 200 metres away.

You can only enter with a special permit from the cantonal police!
You can drive to the previous village, Täsch. In Täsch, there is a large parking facility with many parking options and an adjacent train station. (Parking fee: 16 CHF per day per space.
