Starting point for many water sports, hiking, biking and much more.
The surrounding area also has a lot to offer culturally. B. the lake stage in Zeulenroda with many national and international guest appearances - in winter it becomes an ice rink.
City trips, such as B. to Erfurt, Weimar, Leipzig and Dresden are easy to plan from here on half and full day trips.
