Great location and view. Spectacular Israeli art all over. Great rooms and break fast
Beautiful and relaxing surroundings, but the rooms are dirty, outdated, and poorly maintained. Not a place I’d return to, especially given the high price that doesn’t match the value.
Really enjoyed our stay, welcoming staff, amazing breakfast and clean rooms & facilities. Loved the unique atmosphere, incredible art everywhere. Would recommend to anyone that is looking for something that is not run of the mill.
Quirky, arty, really great swimming pool and gardens. Breakfasts were very good with ample variety. Location good for a stopover and an enjoyable walk into the centre of town. Housekeeping was very hit and miss - could do with a more structured timetable.
After having come from a spa in northern Israel which was incredible .. the staff went out of their way to be helpful, it was not the feeling in this hotel. It had a cold feeling .. it was a gorgeous hotel, with incredible views, and wonderful art, but it left my husband and I cold. I felt like we were in an art gallery but had a place to sleep there. Also, they claim they ah e an elevator, which they do, but each of the rooms I saw had a number of steps up to the room. My husband has a walker, and it was a bit difficult for him. It would have been wonderful if someone offered to help us to our room. I wish I hadn’t spent the kind of money I did on this place.
My family and I had a two night stay at this property. The location and view from our room was amazing. The service on the other hand was not great. We stayed in suite 501 which is right above the garage opening which creates tremendous noise from banging against the drainage system of the garage that translated straight to our room about 400 to 500 times a day. We asked for our room to be serviced and it was not. For the price we paid we expected a lot better quality of stay.
We booked a half board stay at a significant premium, expecting dinner on arrival. However, we were only offered a sandwich or soup in the bar. Dinner the next night did not even include soft drinks. Also had maintenance issues in the room. When we complained and asked to talk to the manager, there was sympathy but no call back from manager and no compensation whatsoever. Service is sympathetic but not effective. Value for money, especially for the half board upgrade, is poor.

Disappointed
We had booked a specific type of suite. When we arrived they had downgraded us without informing us. We were given the keys and when we got into the room were shocked by the downgrade. Eventually we were moved to a better room which was still not the category that we had reserved. We were obviously given compensation for that but our disappointment was great because we didn’t have the view that we hoped for. We selected this hotel for the view and therefore booked the best accomodations there but our stay was with no view.
One of the biggest complaint is that we were not informed beforehand that we would not be getting the room reserved. We were not treated with consideration.
Our room was not cleaned during our two nights stay and we had to request the maid to come.
They came and they only changed towels and did not clean bathroom and bedroom. Definitely not the type of service you expect for a five star hotel
great place beautiful view.
the room lacks a comfortable seat for reading or watching TV.
the lobby area lacks places to seat and have fun
the entrance to the indoor pool is prohibited for children. they were very disappointed.
Great location for a relaxing weekend. Amazing architecture. A must be for architects. But the service is horrible! The food is just fine what you would expect for a luxury hotel in Israel. But the Frontdesk is unbelievable incompetent. Everything we needed or asked has to be asked three or four times and even than it’s not happening.
Great hotel, but the service is not what is expected for the money.
First booked one room but were put in a cheaper option, had to change.
No cleaning came to clean the room on the second day of the stay.
Breakfast is very good with lots of options of food
Great service
Great breakfast
Nice view
Poor exchange relative to the high price
Basic room standards and facilities
For the price I would expect a hot tub in the patio

Family vacation
Great hotel for families, nice pool and amazing view ! Tasty breakfast too.
After having read a number of negative reviews by other guests regarding the poor level of cleanliness in the hotel, we decided to add a note in our own on-line reservation requesting/demanding a clean room. Despite that, upon entering our room we were shocked to discover that the floor and the carpet were full of lint and other dirt, the glass doors out to the two porches, as well as their glass walls, were stained and had clearly not been cleaned for quite a while, the mirror inside the room was also stained and worst of all, the sheets in our bed were very wrinkled making us wonder whether they had been changed since the previous guests.
There were numerous dirty and otherwise poorly maintained areas in the dining room as well, including sticky floors and birds' feces on the ledge of the balcony, where the guests who did not want to sit inside were invited to have their meals, only to find themselves seated on filthy, discolored chairs on many of which the paint had also peeled off. To top our disappointment in the level of maintenance in the hotel, despite several complaints to the personnel, most of our complaints were totally ignored.
On the positive side, the meals were excellent, the room we had was spacious and comfortable and the entire swimming pool area, including the pool itself, was beautiful and well taken care of and offered a breathtaking view of the coast.
