Nearby activities: Usedom's hinterland offers a wealth of nature-based activities: far from the main roads, the sights are best discovered on hikes and bike tours. Fishing is possible in the Baltic Sea as soon as the water is ice-free. The chances of catching some magnificent specimens are good here! Tip: On a guided ISLAND SAFARI by jeep (available on Usedom), you'll experience expansive forests, lakes, and moors, reed beds along the inland coasts, pristine floodplain forests, sea eagles, kites and other birds of prey, cranes, cormorants, lapwings, and woodpeckers; beavers, otters, fallow deer, and red deer, and much, much more.
