“Very friendly and helpful staff. English spoken. Simple 3*, but very good hotel. Don't let the strange colour pillared frontage put you off. Very convenient location on a quiet side street just a few minutes walk to the town centre. Secure (shuttered) parking behind hotel was €6/night. 3 free parking slots directly outside, also a free public car park 50 yards away. Good swimming pool. We were there during a heat wave and the room A/C worked perfectly. Good shower and bathroom.”

“We just had a 1 night stay on a Sunday (which did limit our dining options). Hotel is walkable (with luggage) from/to the train station, which added to its already very good value. We enjoyed its quiet location, short walk to old town (to see the “required” statues of Cyrano & the river). Clean & comfortable room. We did not partake of breakfast. Pleasant & helpful staff (helping me to print some required paperwork & advising on dining options).”

“This hotel was in a great position to walk down to Bergerac and look around the many lovely shops and restaurants it has to offer. The room was modern and the bed was comfortable. The air con worked well in the room and there was a kettle. The only negative was that the tea bags/sugar weren’t replaced and there was no milk left. The receptionist we had for the weekend we were there (August 22-25th) was outstanding! She was very helpful, had excellent english and couldnt do more for you. As……

“We had a terrible start to our vacation due to a late flight, we had to catch a late train and we were unsure if we could even check in. Owner was able to help us. We’re very appreciative, this trip could’ve been awful but the owner turned it around into a good trip. Thank you. ”
