Lovely Hotel in the bayerischer Wald. Pros: - Breakfast - Surroundings - Spa area - Friendly staff Cons: - The only "con" that we see is that there aren't supermarkets / restaurants near by, so you need to rely a bit on your car (Zwiesel is 5-10 min drive)

Das Zimmer war toll, absolut gepflegt und modern, die Matratzen schön hart. Frühstücksbuffet war ebenso sehr schön und lecker, das gebuchte Abendessen (Halbpension) ebenso. Leider war eine der drei Saunen im Saunadorf defekt, aber die anderen (auch im Hotel selbst) waren einen Besuch wert. Insgesamt war Preis/Leistung sehr gut, wir werden bestimmt wieder kommen

War sehr nett, von außen wahnsinnig beeindruckend. Von innen nicht ganz so, aber trotzdem gut. Alles sehr sauber, eine tolle Wellness Landschaft mit vielen schönen Angeboten. Frühstück war okay, nichts besonderes, aber auch nichts schlimmes. Alles in allem hatten wir eine tolle Zeit, mein Hund war willkommen und deswegen könnte ich mir gut vorstellen wieder hinzugehen.

angenehmer Aufenthalt

Das Personal war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit, was den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht hat. Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und modern eingerichtet, mit einem bequemen Bett, das für erholsamen Schlaf sorgte. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Lage des Hotels, die besonders ruhig war. Das Frühstücksbuffet war vielfältig und frisch, sodass für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei war.

Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt. Das Essen war gut allerdings hätte ich am Abend lieber Buffet da man sich das ganze selbst zusammenstellen kann. Das Saunadorf ist auch sehr schön einziges Manko Getränkebecher wurden nicht immer aufgefüllt, weswegen wir die Becher immer mitgenommen haben..

Schönes Hotel, aber Preis/Leistung stimmt nicht !!

Schönes Hotel mit sehr viel Potential nach oben Preis/Leistung stimmt in keinem Fall Matratze war komplett durchgelegen, man lag auf den Springfedern, es fehlte hier der Topper, wie bei Boxspringbetten üblich. Das Hotel musste mit Handtüchern Abhilfe schaffen, da keine Topper oä zur Verfügung standen… Im Bad fehlten zu Beginn Kosmetiktücher u. Ersatztoilettenpapier. In der Badewanne lag ein Massagehandschuh vom vorherigen Gast!! Frühstück entsprach in keinem Fall dem eines 4* Hotels.Alles sehr lustlos arrangiert… Weißwürste lagen nur halb im Wasser, daher halbseitig graue trockene Haut - sehr unappetitlich. Außer ganzen Äpfeln, Orangen kein Obst bzw. Obstsalat oä Rühreier, die ebenfalls lange in der Warmhalteplatte liegen, kein Ordern von Spiegeleiern möglich. Die gesamte Auswahl ist eher 2* Hotel Niveau. Abendessen: Salat vom Buffet so lala, Hauptgang immer sehr gut, Nachspeise leider wieder nur so lala. Es war nicht möglich eine Flasche Wein zu ordern!!… zuerst hieß es Grüner Veltliner nicht mehr vorrätig, danach Sauvignon Blanc auch nicht …!! Ebenso war das örtliche Dunkelbier nicht vorrätig …!! Es erschloss sich nicht, wie so etwas sein kann! Möglicherweise war eine Hochzeit die im Nebenhaus stattfand die Ursache… ist jedoch keine Entschuldigung! In der sehr schönen Bar ist am Abend „tote Hose“, kein leise Barmusik, keiner hinter der Bar zum ordern. Die Freundlichkeit des Personals ist hervorzuheben, macht aber das viele Minus nicht wett und knapp 400,-€ /Nacht

War alles super. Essen auch spitze. Vor allem die Saunalandschaft im Außenbereich hat mich überzeugt. Wer aber eher Schwimmbäder mag, da gibt es nur ein Becken.

Eine Verbesserung im Vgl. zum letzten Jahr: der Saunameister, der Aufgüsse macht, die zwar etwas lange dauern und recht lasch sind, aber immerhin... Was zu verbessern ist: Freitagabend sagte die Bedienung in der Bar, sie könne keine Cocktails mixen, da sie nur die Aushilfe sei. Wenn man eine Bar betreibt, muss jemand da sein, der Cocktails kann. Beim Abendessen war die Vinaigrette aus und wurde auch nicht aufgefüllt. Das andere Dressing schemckte nach nichts. Pfeffer- und Salzstreuer gingen zum Teil nicht richtig bzw. waren weitgehend leer. Beim Frühstück gab es keine Vollkornsemmeln o.ä. und man musste einige Zeit auf Nachschub beim Rührei und bei den im Übrigen gut gemachten warmen Champignons warten. In sämtlichen Duschen im Wellnessbereich gab es kein Duschgel. Das Robenstein würde noch besser dastehen, wenn es sich einiger Details - siehe oben - ernsthafter annähme. Grundsätzlich kann man es empfehlen, aber manch eine Schwäche ist ärgerlich und darf in einem Vier-Sterne-Haus nicht sein.

- von einem Luxus- Wellnesshotel weit entfernt - Hotelbeschreibung nicht umsetzbar - viel Potenzial zur Verbesserung - viel zu wenig Personal -Fruhstucksbuffett nur Aufbackbrötchen, wenn überhaupt vorhanden - Personal war bei ausgebuchten Haus überfordert - Nachmittags Kaffee und Kuchen ohne Kuchenauswahl - kein Abendessen alacarte möglich - Saunadorf verspricht nicht das, was in der Beschreibung steht -auf demTerrassendach abgenutzte Sitzmöbel -vielleicht versuchen wir es nochmal zu einem ruhigeren Zeitpunkt in diesem Hotel verwöhnen zu lassen

Sehr anmutiges Hotel mit edler Einrichtung, insb. der Barbereich ist hervorzuheben, tolles Frühstücksbuffet was wirklich keinerlei Wünsche offen lässt. Ideale Lage als letztes Haus der Strasse am Waldrand, sodass man direkt in den Wald starten kann. Ausgesprochen hundefreundlich.

Von außen hui aber dann... Qualität des Frühstücks ist nur mittelmäßig. Der gesamte Essebereich gefühlt zu eng von der Anordnung der Tische. Das Saunadorf war während unseres Aufenthalts (5 Tage) komplett gesperrt, scheint wohl ein Dauerproblem zu sein aber es gibt keine vorab Info das es nicht zur Verfügung steht. Für viele aber ist genau das ein Entscheidungskriterium pro Robenstein. Wellnessbereich im Haus konnte dafür genutzt werden. Während des laufenden Betriebs gibt es keine Reinigung des Wellnessbereichs, was jedoch dringend nötig wäre, gerade vor dem Hintergrund, dass ein hohes Besucheraufkommen herrschte. Der Wellnessbereich ist alles in allem sehr lieblos gestaltet. Ruheräume sehr steril, da kommt nicht wirklich Entspannung auf, keine Wechselhandtücher, kein Aufguss, kaltes Poolwasser. Getränke und Obst nur das allernötigste. Barbereich ist positiv hervorzuheben, dieser ist schön gestaltet, es gibt Cocktails und eine gute Getränkeauswahl. Personal wirkte teils unprofessionell und nicht geschult. Beim Checkout (dauerte ewig) gab es von allen Gästen vor uns breitbandig negative Rückmeldung zum Aufenthalt, da konnte einem das Personal schon echt leidtun. Man hat dauernd das Gefühl das an allen Ecken gespart wird und das geht deutlich auf Kosten der Gäste. Alles in allem wird das Robenstein 4 Sterne Ansprüchen nicht gerecht.
