"Room had a dirty towel and hair left from previous guest and housekeeping did not come until 5pm when we were in the room getting ready for dinner. Pool table was ‘functional’ but in need of repair. Bartender at Tiki was rude, completely ignored me. I didn’t catch her name but so rude."

"Our family of 4 just returned from a weekend at the Beachliner. The location can’t be beat, just a few houses in from the pristine Ocean Grove beach. There are ample sitting areas, from the front yard and porch to multiple decks, some with ocean views. Our room was #12, on the third floor. Our window looked out onto the back deck, which was a 5 foot walk from our room and felt like our own outdoor space. The room wasn’t huge but was large enough for our family; with comfy beds and fresh towels and sheets. AC worked great and we slept well after walking around town to see all the beautiful historic homes. I don’t usually leave a place raving about the continental breakfast, but seriously, it was terrific! I’m gluten free and was able to find multiple items to eat, which was a relief as it can often be a challenge. But it’s not just the food selection. The atmosphere is so relaxed, with beachy decor and soft music playing in the background. It’s just a very pleasant way to start the day! They have a discount code for beach passes, beach towels to borrow, and bikes to ride. Not sure about beach chairs or umbrellas, but I did see some on the porch, and Bernadette is always around, so just ask! My family would love to return to the Beachliner in the near future! FYI - The stairs are indeed steep and narrow, it is a 150 year old building after all. This does not bother me at all, I think it’s part of the charm, but it may pose a challenge for someone with mobility issues."

"Great Hotel! Clean, new, smelled amazing as soon as you walk in! Room was quite large and had great amenities!! 2 great lounge areas to chill. Nice little indoor Pool. Breakfast was a buffet, there was a minimal charge. Great front lobby as well!"

"We are coming here about 30 years. This time the pool was extremely dirty. It was closed pool mid day at 100 degrees to add chlorine powder for about 30 minutes once over an entire weekend. Ice machine flooded since pipe disconnected from machine. Not fixed not drained while we were there. Got extremely bitten from mosquitoes. Music was off by the hotel so one quest blasted their music making it difficult to read or listen to a book with a bud in my ear or just relax. Very disrespectful without any intervention when reported. People come a stay at the pool as guests of guests or just knowing nobody check and they flaunted it to others that paid a lot for their room. This limited the numbers of chairs available poolside for the actual guests. Property in the older wing and pool is getting old and unfortunately not being maintained. This was not a good experience. Every other time was great. Hope things improve because we have great memories here. Sorry."
