As soon as I arrived I was amazed by the scenery, it looks just exactly the same as the photo, surrounded by tea plantations with a great with of the mountains from afar. It is a bit of a drive from the town but it was nice to be in somewhere very peaceful and scenic. They have a lovely welcome ritual and tea. The hotel still has the engines from the factory days and they runs every night for 30 mins. It is full of stories in this hotel....

「We stayed for three nights. Absolutely amazing hotel. Staff were amazing and specially we need to mention our butler, Sakunthala and she was great and made our stay extremely memorable and special. Food was amazing too. We wanted to see Kandy perahara and the general manager immediately contacted the manager from queens hotel Kandy, who got us excellent seats to watch the perahara. Staff were so friendly and made our trip truly enjoyable.」

「The views over the valley, the tea plantations and agricultural land are fantastic. The villa is set up on a hillside, about 3km out of town. It takes approximately a 10 min tuk tuk drive into town. The staff are absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The hotel is beautifully presented, mostly made in wood and looking very smart. The room and bathroom were large, clean and well presented. The whole place is beautiful an dis surrounded by beautiful countryside. 」

「Das Serendip Hotel liegt eigentlich traumhaft - aber in the middle of nowhere. Ohne telefonisches Anfordern eines tuktuk geht nichts. Das Personal war sehr freundlich aber wenig geschult. Die Zimmer wurden in den vier Tagen (von zwölf gebuchten) nicht einmal gemacht. Expedia sollte darauf hinweisen dass es ein prima geignetes Hotel ist für einen stop over in Kandy aber als Standorthotel eher ungeignet.」

「最值得称道的地方就是亲近自然。座落在风景优美的茶山上，客房被茶田环绕，景观自然出众。早餐虽然简单，典型的英式早餐，但是坐在殖民地风格的餐厅里，看着优美的风景，自然觉得一切都值得，而且值得多住几天，细细品味。与餐厅的优雅装饰相反，房间呈帐篷样，有些简陋朴实。因为雨夜入住，平生第一次遭蚂蟥咬，受了一点惊吓。于是非常仔细地检查每一角落，消灭发现的每一个小虫，这或许就是入住生态旅馆的必然代价。最有问题的是，离Nuwara Eliya极远。网上标注只有10多公里，那是空中直线距离。实际要开30多公里的山路，要花一个多小时。所以，如果不是要多住几天特别享受茶园风光，建议不要去住。」

"I stayed two nights at the Heritance Tea Factory hotel. As soon as I arrived I was amazed by the scenery, it looks just exactly the same as the photo, surrounded by tea plantations with a great with of the mountains from afar. It is a bit of a drive from the town but it was nice to be in somewhere very peaceful and scenic. They have a lovely welcome ritual and tea. The hotel still has the engines from the factory days and they runs every night for 30 mins. It is full of stories in this hotel. Everyone is so kind, welcoming and helpful. I took the nature walk with Mohan and he is very knowledgeable and has the best photography skills! I also did the Pekoe trail with Mutu, the kindest man who showed me all about the flora and fauna, and taught me some local languages. We had the best laugh! Thank you team! "
