“Could not use my booking due to a terrible smell in the room after turning on the heater. The odor was extremely strong — a heavy dusty, burning smell coming from the heater that made it unhealthy and impossible to stay in the room. I notified the host immediately and left the property, but the response was basically, “it’s probably just dust burning off and it will get better later because the heater is not used often.” The host also refused to provide any refund. “If you’re planning to explore the area, you won’t find a better location- it’s a half hour or less from everything! The staff is the absolute best- always friendly and helpful. Daily maid service is rare these days and was very much appreciated. Beautiful hotel and grounds. Breakfast is included and offers enough variety that we had something different each day. Fresh fruit was a plus! Ingles grocery store is close and we ended up planning and cooking most other meals in our room after a day of……

“Loved our stay my only complaint is the parking - It’s either $50 a day for valet or $30 a day for self parking that turns over at 5a so you’re paying for at minimum 2 days. Also getting to the parking with luggage is a nightmare”
