「Excellent food and staff」

「We loved the pool and the easy access to the water toys like kayaks and paddle boards. They supplied the life jackets which was helpful and supplied all the linens, towels and even provided soap and shampoo. It is a beautiful firepit and nice sandy volleyball pit. There isn’t swimming off the dock, as the water is full of reeds but the water is clean and lots of opportunities to go out into deeper water to swim. We loved it!」

「We arrived to a quick check in with staff holding open the doors for us and offering to help with our luggage. We arrived to a spotless room which was well furnished and comfortable. Dinner followed in the main dining room with a scrumptious meal including wine, salad, dessert and a unique main course. 「We only stayed one night as a stop on a journey. We were pleasantly surprised that a continental breakfast was included although we did not use it as we had other breakfast plans. The room was clean but a bit dated. They did note they were in the midst of a renovation so I am sure things will be great when that is done. The deodorizer they sprayed was a bit too pungent but I noted that to them. All in all a fine stay.」

「This was the best motor inn I’ve ever stayed. Spacious and clean, checkin was fast and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had so many varieties of food, fresh cereals, muffins and bananas. Close to Bracebridge town and Muskoka Lake. 」

「Lovely setting and family friendly. Staff were lovely. Our room was clean, however the hallway carpets and floors are tired, worn and appeared dirty. While it is difficult to keep common areas clean in a setting where there is a beach, more cleaning is required. Families were enjoying the beach and kayaks but we chose not to due to Canadian Geese on the grass and beach areas…wondering about the cleanliness of water in shallow areas. Our waiter was lovely but it took an hour for our butter...

「The positives: Clean bed, linens and overall general upkeep was good. The negatives: Some standard items that I would have expected were missing. There was no full length mirror in the room to double check your outfit before heading out. I also didn't an ironing board or iron but this might be available at the front desk, I didn't ask as I didn't need it. There was no coffee maker or kettle in the room. 2 bottles of water were provided and a mini fridge. The staff mentioned there was a Tims...
