““GLAMPING” is the exact perfect word for this hotel!  You are in the jungle.  This is a few miles out of town on a dirt road, so it does take a bit of extra time and effort to get there.  The “tents” are permanent structure on stilts.  Maybe a bit more like a fancy hut!  You can see the “bones” of the structure from inside, and it felt almost like being inside a huge whale’s rib cage!  Each is a nicely decorated self-contained unit with a very comfy bed, large bathroom, its own water heater,……

“We loved this beautiful place - very retro kind of art deco look to it. An older resort, still beautiful, spacious, beautiful throughout and lovely grounds and pool. Staff was very helpful. There is an onsite masseuse- highly recommended- and the breakfast is simple but good. The location is out of the town but uber and taxis allowed us easy trips in and out, and we preferred somewhere quiet, spacious and beautiful to being in the city centre. ”

They provide free shuttle service if you want to go to downtown do do some grocery shopping or have a dinner. The restaurant in the hotel is nice too if you cannot make it to downtown.”
