“Enjoyed our stay and would recommend them”

“Very basic. No coffee in room but free breakfast was nice.”

“Very nice stay here”

“It was dirty and messy. There were so many bugs. I couldn't stay there for half an hour. The room had a strange smell. I immediately changed hotels.”

“You can tell the “no smoking” signs everywhere are just for show. Got into my room…immediately drove to Walmart for air fresheners and Lysol. It was like a chain smoker lived in that room for years. Everything was covered in tar and the room absolutely wreaked. I was in town for work and this place was cheap. But I lasted 4 days before I had to tap out and find somewhere cleaner. No refunds and the staff will tell you “come back at 9am” if you come with a complaint or make a request for a room……

“There was no breakfast. Don't know about the laundry I didn't see one. And serviceable nothing great.”

“Host was fantastic in providing details regarding the property and the greater Mena area. We really enjoyed staying at the Sassafras Inn.”

“Absolutely GOD AWFUL!! First off we arrived my girlfriend told me she didn’t feel safe here and it was disgusting , Dog poop everywhere sidewalk grass by the rooms just everywhere. First thing we saw when we came through the gate was a bunch of people holding a rat by the tail outside their room laughing. Then seen people smoking crack out of a pipe. Then the super thin covers had stains and dirt on them! We went in so my gf could get something more comfy to wear to get food on the way she……

“Front desk guy was super nice. exterior is incredibly outdated, parking lot sucks. Windows aren't tinted in the slightest and curtains are not as private as most hotels. When someone sits in their car in front of your room with the lights on doing a "deal" it's annoying. Running water was off all night. TV worked but you had to turn it on and off with the button on the actual TV. Room was not soundproof especially to the outside. Best AC I've ever had at a hotel though, maintained a temp and……

“Don't believe the website because apparently the check in time is 3, not starting at 2. Cramped bathroom. Slippery rugs on a slick floor......”

“Very quiet and beautiful cute little attic sleep away.”

“This property was gorgeous and clean. Perfect for an escape and disconnect from the digital world. All basic items were available. If anything else was needed the property wasn't too far from a store.”
