「It was not great 」

「Very basic place.. cockroaches around, dirty cloth, had to remind to get towels, no dustbin within the room. Only advantage was it is walkable to the main temple…. Too much money for such a basic and old place 」

「The staff was helpful but the room was horrible. The room and toilet were both untidy. The toilets had terrible dirt and was hard to use. My overall experience was terribly fuming.」

「The condition of the hotel was very poor. They have a ac restaurant that doesn't serve food. The equipments in the hotel room was old and in bad condition.」

「Appalled by what I saw, mold on the walls, dilapidated rooms with absolutely no amenities. Checked out within an hour, didn’t get any refunds and to boot took Expedia’s commission as well. We should get back all of the money. Surprised Expedia gave them 3 star rating. If there’s a rating below zero that would be too kind.」

「No hot water」

「There was a technical glitch. While my booking went through the hotel was sold out. However the owner was very kind enough to organise accomodation in another nearby hotel. He even let me get refreshed and use the room for a couple of hours before we could get our room from the other hotel. Very kind and courteous staff. Definitely consider staying here. Has parking facility as well.」

「Very precious property- badly maintained. Kids play area all broken- Pumpset motor is burnt, AC cooling effecct is very poor, Garden is full of bushes- not watered plants- overgrown bushes. dry leaves all around. The staff- Sundareswaran and Sounder are good- polite- humble. They tried to accomadate all our grievances- tried to solve the motor issue & AC cooling. But it is beyond their capacity.」

「Small hotel near Chidambaram town. Mostly run by female staff which is very commendable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were old with geyser for hot water and limited shower facilities and use of bucket and tumbler for having a shower. Reason we stayed here as we wanted to visit Chidambaram Chilli Nataraja temple and had to stay for 1 night. Probably wouldn't stay more than a night.」

「It was a terrible experience. We arrived at the hotel at 8:30 AM on 10th April for check-in. The receptionist was extremely rude from the beginning. The first question he asked was whether it was an online booking. When I said yes, he asked us to wait without any explanation. He then asked how much we had paid, even though all the details were already available in the booking confirmation. We were left standing for more than 5 minutes, and he didn’t even have the courtesy to offer us a seat....
