"If you have never been to Hydra, you would not know that it is an uphill climb on cobblestone everywhere you go. Definitely have a donkey carry your luggage unless you travel very light. Do not expect modern conveniences on an island: microwave, dryer, drip coffee maker, things marked in English, ..."

"Hydra was by far our favourite Island we visited in Greece. Communication with the host was excellent, she even coordinated the mules to help bring our luggage from the ferry to the house (well worth the 20!).
