“The listing failed to state that an expensive cleaning fee would apply and we were advised of this by the hotel after the cancellation period had ended. This was challenged but the hotel continued to insist that it needed to be paid and that it was advised (despite it not being in the listing or the confirmation email). “Die Unterkunft war sehr sehr schön und durch die kleine Größe und lokale Lage einfach perfekt und heimlich. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, nicht nur was das Hotel anging, sondern auch im Restaurant. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und würden gerne wiederkommen.”

“The staff were friendly and helpful. It appears that Pension Blankebil has many buildings/rooms. Our room was quite clean, however the room had a musty odor that did not dissipate. The shower would overflow and flood the bathroom if your shower was more than a couple of minutes long. However the water was very hot and had great pressure. The beds were comfortable with extremely lumpy pillows. The location was very good - a few minutes walk to the beach, grocery store or town centre.”
