"Wonderful experience to stay in a temple hotel. Events, such as, prayers and meditation available in the temple for guests. Central location and walking distance to shops, restaurants and places of interest. Traditional bedroom with tatami mat floors and a zen garden in the middle. Staff are very helpful and welcoming. Social area with tea, coffee, fridge, microwave etc. also available. Loved it."

"We had to walk through narrow winding steps to the room. If you have a large suitcase, you may have hard time. I expected a local Japanese family to welcome us because I was going to aske some advice and suggestions but it was a Chinese famly. So I did not ask them. Another thing we were not happy about was this Chinese lady asked my husband passport. She made a copy of it. Not only that I had to write my information on the paper and signed it. "Excellent place to stay. It’s so nice to have a whole place to yourself. Having a kitchen, and a bathtub as well was great. Location is very central, and took no time at all to walk to no matter where we were in town. Very clean. I would highly recommend here"
