「I totally love this place. I had a private room with bathroom, and it contained everything I needed - safe, fridge, desk, and a really comfy bed. Breakfast was great, staff were amazing, friendly, helpful and fun. I found that it's the sort of place where you can be really sociable if you want that, but also just sit quietly and be alone. There are hundreds of places to stay in La Fortuna, but when I return next year, I'll be booking La Choza again. The value for money is fantastic. 」

「This was a magical place to stay at, besides the easy check in and the super friendly staff, there were 2 furry greeters named Roxy and Moly that we had a chance to meet and of which made are stay even better. 「We rented a car and could park right in front. The property manager never received reservation from Orbitz and we had a hard time contacting him upon arrival. Had to borrow the bike rental neighboring business’ phone to call him. He doesn’t receive payment from Orbitz either and we had to go back and forth to dispute. Cheap place to stay if you just want to quick overnighter with no frills.」
