“This is a rustic inn with plenty of personality. We were greeted promptly at check in. The rooms are small, with 2 beds, but are nicely decorated. Some of the world’s only tree climbing lions can be found in Uganda, and we had the luck to experience it first hand! We saw this other 4x4 that had stopped to look at something so we approached it slowly and saw that there were a bunch of lions laying around in the high grass. The other guys told us they had been looking for a while but there was no activity, so they left. But we stayed, because we saw that there was a perfectly fine looking fig tree (the preferred kind of tree for tree climbing lions) just a short distance away. And what do you know – after a while they got up, stretched their legs, walked slowly up to the tree, and climbed up, one by one. So awesome! 😻 #nature #uganda #africa #safari #lions #ishasha
