“Beyond my expectations!”

“The property was exceptionally clean, the staff was friendly, and the views were beautiful. The location is perfect for exploring the area and planned activities. However, due to limited airflow, lack of AC, and severe deck security issues, this unit wouldn't be our first or second choice for a return visit.Parking is limited, and our unit was on the back side of the building. “We stayed in the Loom House, not until we arrived did we know we were to occupy the oldest habitable log home in NC. While the bed was comfortable, the small fridge was iced up and smelled of old food. There was no TV. There were nail heads sticking up out of the floor upstairs and the floor creaked loudly every time we got out of bed to walk to the bathroom. It was not a place for older people to stay with the narrow stairs and small shower. The cabin is quite near the busy road so lots of……

“We did not have a room in the house, instead had very small room in an out building. Room was musty. Had small window AC unit. No tv. Some stains on old pink carpet. Main house locked at night so no access to coffee or TV. No ice available. WiFi went out every night and there was no cell service so we couldn’t check on our house and dogs. Inn keepers / owners Bernard were very pleasant however we would not stay there again.”
