“Near BZE - ideal for a layover if required. Staff were kind & professional. Surprised they could not recommend any providers for diving / snorkel activity in the Cayes - thought they should have a “link” or recommendations (got it from GOOG). We were unable to get a river cruise (to see Manitees) as their boat was out for repair (ended up canoeing upriver for a mile & back). Given the small scale of biz, I suspect they have to be informed ahead of time if you want to rent their boat.”

“This was billed as an all inclusive resort, however it was not a true all inclusive. It included 3 meals each day but only breakfast had a choice. Lunch and dinner were served whatever the resort decided. Most dishes were very salty. No drinks were included. Not even bottled water. Luckily the tap water was safe to drink.”

“Shaka Caye (pronounced “Key” for the ignorant to proper pronunciation like myself), was absolute paradise. My wife and I had an amazing vacation. Whether you go just to relax on the beach like we did or want to plan as many excursions as possible, there really is something for everyone. The staff are all so kind and helpful. The chef was amazing. Special shoutout to Daisy, Percy, Roddy, and Michael who were there for most of, if not all, of our stay, It’s A+ service, minimal thinking required,……

“The rooms are small and minimalist but that's OK as they get everything else right. The rooms were spotless, the property was beautifully kept and the price of booking was affordable. The attached restaurant had excellent and affordable food, in fact we noticed that many of its patrons were locals. The location being 20 minutes from the airport was a nice added bonus. ”

“This condo feels like home. The furniture is comfortable. The kitchen has the necessities. The condo is gated in a quiet neighborhood. The pool is gorgeous and perfectly maintained. The outdoor deck is set up for dining and sunning with table, bar, and lounge chairs. The mango tree adjacent to the deck area is heavy with fruit, but it is still to early to enjoy. The condo’s host is responsive and helpful. I couldn’t ask for a better home away from home!”
