“Great staff and attitude toward customers.”

“Care takers were very knowledgeable of the history of the house and town. Very clean and comfortable. Very welcoming. Breakfast and the atmosphere around the table that was inspired by the care taker was very refreshing and relaxing. Totally enjoyable experience.”

“The hosts at Aldrich House are great and provide a wonderful breakfast served family style in the beautiful home. Overall a very clean and lovely setting to relax for the few days we were in town to visit Williamsburg. Very easily walkable distance (about 10 minute walk with sidewalks all the way) to downtime Colonial Williamsburg. Free to visit town, but you will need tickets for events and attractions. Stayed here over July 4th and crowds not an issue at all.”

“We had a wonderful stay with the entire family. Relaxing and quiet. We stayed 6 people comfortably and enjoyed kayaking. ”

“So the parking was a bit hard to find because it was down a side alleyway. When we got inside, none of the beds had sheets on them and the linens in the dryer were still a bit damp. I texted the host but got no response. There was brown stains on the memory foam mat in the kitchen and spider webs in the bathroom that we had to clean. I later called the host because the WiFi password wasn’t listed in the welcome book as written in the Evolve email. You cannot access the bedroom TV at the same……

“I cannot say enough about this place. The view, the sounds of nature, the peace and quiet, the pool, the rooftop lounge chairs, the birds - it all coalesced into one absolutely perfect weekend. There were so many places to sit and relax and take it all in, from the swingy chair inside to the dock to the poolside lounge chairs . My dog loved walking around the trees and the lake, and even the smell of the flowers was incredible. I rarely write reviews, but this place was so above and beyond……
