“Located right on Main Street in the centre of Historic Barkerville, the room and the parlour (to which I had complete access and could curl up with a cup of tea and a book) fit the time period perfectly. Even the gracious and helpful proprietress was in period costume.”

The hostess offered to prepare breakfast & dinner, presumably for a fee but I travel self-sufficient & was very comfortable preparing my own meals & dining in the common area & in the beautifully set up lawn area on the day the weather complied. “Our stay was relaxing, quiet, and extremely pleasant! We were able to do everything that we wanted! The cabin was clean and had everything that we needed. Anita and Mani were excellent hosts, and were always available if we had any questions or needed anything. We chose to do both Horseback riding and Canoeing during our stay, and had a blast with both of the activities. The lake was very large with a few smaller islands which had some picnic tables on them. To get to these islands it was……
