“Great getaway and beautiful river venue - good consideration for large gatherings close to DFW; Friendly and knowledgeable staff; however, we stayed on a Tuesday night and staff left at 5 so no access to recreation cabin, ice, lodge until next morning. Close enough to Mineral Wells to get dinner and drinks at the few places that were open on a Tuesday evening. Fishing dock was pleasant and strolling the grounds a unique experience. Bed just okay. Room and BR extremely clean and quiet. No need……

“ We arrived after 1100 pm and found a light on with a small porch. There was a lock box lit up. The code didn’t work. We called owner with no response after driving up the road to get service. Finally found number to Expedia and we were told there should be a keypad on the door. At that time we found the front door that was completely dark. There was no soap in the upstairs bath. There was trash in the trash cans. An old coffee filter with petrified coffee remnants in the pot. Half of the……
