“Beautiful area by the lake. Cabin was spotless and well furnished.”

“We had a wonderful two night stay at The Rex! I loved the stylish design aesthetic of the hotel and the attention to detail. We were there for the eclipse, and we appreciated that they left us a welcome gift with eclipse glasses and a cute little reusable tote. Each room has their own fire pit, and we made s’mores each night. We hiked allover Promised Land State Park which was accessible on-site at The Rex. We plan to go back! ”

“Tom and Maureen were the best hosts and we really enjoyed talking with both of them! Their place is so tastefully decorated and comfortable! When we arrived Tom showed us around and told us to help ourselves to anything in the dining area including a wide assortment of coffee, tea and snacks in addition to wine. Maureen had baked some organic apple butter scones that we couldn’t pass up and they were delicious and moist! We had never been to this area before so we drove around and went to Knob……

“We had a little cottage. Ate at Frogtown Chophouse on-site. Was,delicious. The staff were very nice. Wonderful time!”

“The room was perfect for an overnight stay. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Clubhouse was such a plus. The pool is great. Clubhouse has a theater room, fitness room, sauna, billiards room and a room with ping pong, air hockey and futsol. Nice setting! Friendly staff.”

“Really great place. Nostalgic feel but not dated. The grounds are amazing and immaculate. The staff were wonderful. Only downside was the mattress was a bit too soft for our liking and the bathroom is really small. ”

“Great location, beautiful setting and room with several exceptions. Their Restaurant wasnt open during our stay, no ice buckets or ice machine, no snack machines or microwaves, Fireplace lovely until you burn the starter log, too many fumes, smoke and odor also the smoke detector goes off with just starter log. Finally, the bathroom could have cleaner floors dirt and grout on floor. Lastly, we lost power in the late night several times without any back up system.”

“Nice hotel for kids to play water. But it has bedbugs, my 2nd kid get bites on both hands, face and neck. My husband get several bites by bedbugs too. I am really disappointed for this.”
