“The staff is friendly and the property has a lot of potential. If I would have known that it was under renovation I wouldn't have stayed there. There is a ton of dust, parts are covered in plastic to try to avoid the dust, carpet is ripped off in many places. Our room was clean for the most part, but the dirty towels from the previous guest were still hung behind the bathroom door and the sink was covered in their shaving clippings. The staff apologized and cleaned it right away. The sink is……

“The air conditioner in our room didn't work very well and it made for a poor night's sleep and the smoke detector was hanging off the wall by its wires. It probably just got loose. I pushed it back in place and it stayed. Wasn't enough towels or washcloths. I didn't rate the amenities because we didn't use them.”

“Nice suite with a view and was very clean. Would be nice to have smart TVs in the room so you can sign into your streaming service. Very quiet compared to other places I've stayed lately so that was nice as well.”

“Great location right on the river. Parking lot was a bit crowded but we were able to find a spot. Hotel is older, a little run down. Overall clean. Staff was friendly.”

“The front desk staff was extremely helpful! We booked two rooms, and even though we didn’t initially request they be connected, they worked to make it happen! The breakfast was great all 3 mornings we were there. There were people who came down at 8:45 (they stop serving at 9) and upset that there were not a full array of options available, but common sense says there won’t be. Other than that, the selection differed each day which was nice. The location is wonderful if going to Kings Island……
