“Clean and uniquely decorated room. So interesring to stay inside a station. Wifi is fast too. Noise from the train is not a problem at all. Would be better if it offer free/cheaper luggage storage before checkin, 1000JPY per hour just too much.”

“Location is quite remote, no restaurants nearby that open after 8pm . The hotel provides BBQ service and have kitchen facilities inside cottage. The rock onsen is good but small. Very friendly people at front desk.”

“Our stay at the inn was incredible and one of the best parts of our Japan trip. First of all, the inn itself is beautiful and very relaxing to stay at with its beautiful rooms and stunning Japanese garden – we really enjoyed looking at the view of the garden from our room. The host was super helpful and amazing! He was incredibly kind, and went out of his way to show us some of the beautiful natural attractions of the area. He made it feel like a second home in Japan. “A nice place to stay for an authentic experience. The host is very responsive to any questions you’ll have. If hiking be aware the house is about 2km from the trail and you have to descend the amount you climbed to get back to the road- hike back up approx 45 minutes. Be sure to set up food/transportation if you need them 2 weeks in advance. ”
