“Beds weren’t that comfortable. Definitely need new mattresses! Requested more towels and staff wanted to exchange them for dirty ones that we didn’t have at the moment so additional ones were not given. Coffee and water for tea were not kept hot.”

“I had a great stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Harlingen Convention Center. It rained the entire time, so I didn’t get to use the pool, but everything else about the hotel was excellent. The property is clean, comfortable, and well‑kept. I want to give special recognition to Sebastian at the front desk. I had just purchased new rocking chairs and was worried about leaving them in my truck during a major thunderstorm. Sebastian immediately offered to store them safely in the conference room……

“I’ve stayed here before and it just seems not kept up. It is reasonably priced but still not the cheapest in the area. I can start with all the staff are very friendly. Walking to our room noticed a huge red stain on the floor. The light switch, you could hear it arcing when turning the power on. Through out my 3 day stay I had to reset the door keys about 5 times at time waiting in line because other people had the same issue. Our microwave had pieces falling off from inside. The pool was……

“Breakfast was very limited, would appreciate at least boiled eggs. There was no single coffee bags in the room, normally they have those at hotel otherwise the coffee machine is useless. Also no kettle.”
