“We stayed for one night at this darling bed and breakfast located in a secluded area in the mountains of Placerville. Our room was comfortable and had the most amazing view of the surrounding valley. The bed was comfortable and we had wine glasses and a wine bottle opener to enjoy our treasures picked up at local wineries that day. Their pool area is amazing! “Silver Lake is a beautiful location and having cabins to rent on the lake side is pretty special. The cabins are old and rather quirky, but you can over look some inconveniences, like luke warm water, missing chairs for dining, no plugs in the sinks and even a mouse in your room. But when we checked in they charge me for the room even though I had paid for it . I had to find my credit card bill to show I had paid for the room. Once I showed them my credit card statement they refunded the money……

“The property was great for a girls weekend in the wine country. Definitely more suitable for sleeping 6, can't imagine 8 adults would be comfortable. The communication was great. There are just a few simple touches that would make it a 5 star stay, such as adult sized bath towels, stocked toliet paper, and a full set of wine glasses (since it's the wine country). “This little cabin was perfect! You can see the main house from the driveway and front door, but with the direction of the home and an umbrella, you feel like you're all by yourself in the woods. There are some pups, but they were well behaved and didn't come around often. This is a great little cabin—perfect for a 2 person get-away—with all the amenities you will need. “Comfy cabin with large deck. We enjoyed sitting outside in the quiet evenings. Comfortable beds, but thin, steep stairs going to second floor. Only half-bath upstairs but two full baths downstairs. Good variety of games to play, adequate dishes, and a Keurig coffee maker. Grocery store a mile nearby. Owner very good communication. ”
