“Owner was very pleasant on check-in. Property is nice, what you’d expect a family farmhouse to look like. The room we chose was very well appointed. ”

“Amazing stay, convenient to downtown shops and dining. Self serve from beginning to end. Sharing the Bathroom wasn’t an issue or an inconvenience . On street parking was safe. There a a carport to with charging capacity for EVs. Continental breakfast was fresh and delightful. Game room, gardens and full kitchen at the guest disposal. All rooms lock with a code for extra security. Street noise was quiet after 10 pm and before 6am. Hostess responsive to texts; price was competitive and yet……

“This place was fantastic! Clean, quiet, safe, and relaxing. The TV and soundbar setup were extremely high quality, we had a great time playing two player on our Nintendo Switch as well as watching our favorite shows and a movie. We had an absolutely wonderful and rejuvenating stay here. The property fit our needs perfectly. The hot tub was clean and functional, the little curtains around it were a very nice touch as the backyards were a little close together and it provided peace and privacy.……

“Beautiful comfortable room with porch swing for afternoon and late evening relaxing. Tasty breakfast. Beer/ale tasting room in the basement. Thornton River walk steps away. Innkeepers Sherrie and Kevin do it all. We had a wonderful time there and will come back. ”

“Couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing and comfortable weekend away! The property and house itself were both well cared for and felt very welcoming. We had a lovely weekend trip here with grilling, roasting marshmallows over the fire pit, walking the property while taking in the sights of mountains and farmland, and playing tunes on the piano! Locally we went to Luray Caverns and took a drive through Shenandoah National Park’s Skyline Drive. Great trip, beautiful comfortable house, definitely……
