“The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs ”

“The building and grounds here are absolutely beautiful. It's clearly been a wonderful place to stay at some point. Having said that, our trip was generally very disappointing. We arrived in the evening, and there were no staff at all to be seen. There was a bar open, with music playing, and no staff. A sign noted to call a mobile number for help. The first number rang out repeatedly. On a second call, a person answered and seemed confused about whether any staff remained at the hotel. Eventually……

“We went as a group of 3 couples. Upon arrival we were made more than welcome. Every single member of staff where so friendly. Our rooms where spotlessly clean, and got cleaned every day with fresh towels each day. The breakfasts where spot on, there was something there for evey dietary requirements.
